guess who visited Singapore??

Guess who!!! Lydia visited me in Singapore!!!

Actually Lydia and I were discussing about her visit to Singapore 1 year ago. 1st I thought it wouldn't be possible because of our timing.

So glad that she was here.

Upon her arrival on sunday, guess where I brought her to?
straight away I took her..... to a study room..... to study :D
Sorry Lydia... because at that time I was still having exam... till wednesday..
But I was glad that she was with me while I was preparing for the exam..

Finally after my exam, we went out for dinner, with some of my friends.

From the left, Lydia, Me, Jimmie, Yi Zhe, Lai ming and Caleb

We went to Marche at Suntec City....

That is Yi zhe.... AKA chu tou...:P

Above were food we ordered.

It was great to introduce some of my close friends to Lydia... and also it had been quite a long time for Yizhe, Lai Ming and I to meet each other since I am back from Germany.

And it is also my pleasure to get to know Jimmie, who is Yi Zhe's girl friend.

That time past quite fast, and we will meet again to cook and eat together soon.

Then Lydia I showed Lydia around the beauty of NUS, visit Law Library, NUS Museum, where we had our massage at massage chair sponsored by OSIM at the basement of the Museum, our new University hall and etc.

We went for Swimming too at night at about 9pm, after we cooked and ate together. I cooked yellow ginger fried chicken and spagetti with cream and garlic. She liked it very much!!! ... I think...
Then we went to vist her favourite place... bookstore!! The Borders in Singapore.

The 1 week time past fast too and I hope she enjoyed the stay in Singapore.

She left yesterday back to KL and will be travel to Hong Kong with her Family.
So nice

Well, Lydia, see you in Penang during Christmas!

NUS international Day

Today is NUS international Day!!

It is the day to promote student exchange program!!
I am the student helper and trying to promote Germany!!

There are few categories: Europe, Asia pacific, Amerika... There are also some foods, souveniors and CD stalls.

When I was still in Germany, I received an email from Engineering Department of NUS asking the exchange students to send their photos from the country. I sent some and didnt expect that they would be chosen...:P

3 photos were chosen to display during that day.
Can you find them??

On the right top: October Fest photo with Xiao Guai from China, Victor from Spain and a girl (forgot her name)
bottom right: There are 2 photos, one taken in CDC during international day and another one taken at Mittenwald.

Merdeka....Merdeka!!!

Today is the national day of Malaysia. There is a tradition in Sheares Hall, that the juniors have to organize the national day gathering and national day dinner for the hall.

To think about it, this year will be my 3rd year staying in Sheares Hall, but this is the 1st time I join the event :P

When I was freshman, I was the president in the Malaysia National Day organizing committee, but i myself didnt turn up because I had a training camp to attend.

Below are some photos taken then.

Waiting for the rest to come

Gathering
We were supposed to introduce ourselves one by one...in Malay...hahahah all of us have nearly forgotten how to speak malay...our own national language...
We sang our National song, some malay songs. (surprisingly that I could still remember the music)

Bday cake for Malaysia!!

I am back in Germany!!

This morning I had a dream. I dreamt that I was back in Germany.

Clement and Jorge were with me at that time. It was weird because in the dream I knew that I was supposed to be in Singapore. But somehow I needed to go back to Germany for some reasons. I dont know.

On that day ( in the dream), I was supposed to leave Germany and come back to Singapore again. But I didnt want to leave Germany. I was so depressed that time and Jorge and Clement were there for me, consolling me. They brought me to a sport club (quite a unique and old sport club) and they wanted to go for workout. I had no mood to do anything then.

I was comparing the weather and humidity there and Singapore.
Jason "Hmm.... now i am in Germany.. but why is the weather still warm and humid?? "

Then the dream changed to another dream, about my friends in Sheares Hall, a hostel where I am staying in NUS.

hhmm... I think I still miss my time in Germany.... I dont know if that dream was suppose to be a good dream or sad dream... weird...
